Ke Kāniwala Aupuni Hawaiʻi Highlights

At the Kāniwala Aupuni Hawaiʻi, over 5,100 kūpuna, mākua, keiki, and moʻopuna, speakers and non-speakers alike, got to see what it would be like for ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi to be the everyday language. Keiki jumped around in excitement, me ka ʻuwā ma ka ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi. Longtime friends gave each other honi a hele a māʻona i ka ʻai kole. And seeds of possibility were planted everywhere, a ua kupu a kawowo a liko a lau, a he aha hoʻi ka mea e hua ai?
